<p></p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>Located at the mouth of the River Surhan the city of Malanoran is one of the most pleasant cities in the [[Kijaand Empire]]. The city is large in area but is spread out rather than spawling. Its ocean side location means it gets consist breeze, stopping the city from becoming sweltering in the heat, unlike its easterly neighbour [[K&#039;Resh]].<br /> <br /> Unlike most other cities in the empire Malanoran is not walled but instead relies on a number of fortified towers. Strict limits on development have created a city which still feels like a large collection of towns and villages, with port facilities spread along the river for several miles.<br /> <br /> The city relies heavily of the river trade, with [[Er&#039;ab]] for grain, [[Sernoyia]] for general produce and [[Na&#039;fa]] and [[Sa&#039;Surhan]] for metals and minerals.
