<div >__NOTOC__</div>Madi is a landlocked province on the western side of the Island. The province is bordered to the north by [[Serawak]], and the west by [[Pontaningal]] and [[Matan]]. The southern border is shared with [[Waringin]] the east by [[Dajak]] and [[Koetai]].

25% of the province is dominated by the Madi Plateau, a region rich in plant and animal life. Here large volumes of rare herbs, roots and animal parts are harvested and sent to the High temple of Balai where the Kinsen prepare and process the ingredients into potions and poultices famed for their healing properties.

Close to [[Boenoel]] lies the home of the Balai Kinsen, the holy man of the Balai religion. The [[Kantagaresh]] (Main temple of the Balai) is a huge complex housing several thousand Kinsen (Disciples) who train in both martial and mental prowess.
