Arandor grew up in Alfhiem as an only child to a military family, and as expected went into the family trade as a Household Guard.
The Household fell into disrepute around 800 WK and the household scattered in shame.

Arandor left Alfhiem and travelled to the western kingdom seeking work as a household guard, along the way he fell into the stereotype elf woodsman as employment which he (naturally) had aptitude for.
However he desired to join the formal military and was rebuffed due to racial prejudice. It was suggested he try the Seagates Adventures guild, particular to hone his skills
