History

The empire on the plane of Vamli was attacked by demonic forces 8,700 years ago and the world shattered. There are few remains from the devastation. There are some sentient golems still alive from the that time.

World effects

Magic alterations

  • Combat magic works fine
  • Pulse casting Control magic doesnt work. Minute will work but effect d4 targets. Ritual casting works ok
  • Buff spells effect d4 extra targets, this is random so may also effect the enemy.

World lore

Anyone flying will be hit by whitefire or falling star. Flying will result in death.

Places

Valmidia

a coastal town situated on the southwestern coast of the main Island encountered, it is situated in a canal system on fertile grounds a few miles from the edge of the Great Expanse.
In the central-western edge of the city there is a marble structure that is the location of the main teleportal gateway currently used to arrive on the plane.
The population is 65% human, 35% merfolk. several buildings built on the edges of the slow-flowing canals have special access points for merfolk.
A merfolk society live close to the shoreline in appear to be sunken ruins, designs of most of the sunken buildings appears to be similar to that of the marble gateway structure. They co-exist with the people on the island.

Great Expanse

The great expanse is a massive tropical Jungle forest home to many animals and has a very large abundance of tough ironwood trees and contains wild banana and mango tree's
the forest also has a seemingly hostile tribal population, that have tamed hippo's and has access to a decent quantity of magical talent, how many tribals and how big their societies are is currently unknown

Cecile's Workshop

located in a marble ruin inside the great expanse, roughly three days away from the beach used by seals for breeding not far from valmidia.
the ruin itself has mostly intact hallways, has a couple of rooms including what looks like an old armoury. in a cavern there currently lives at least one very large dangerous spider.
at the back of the armour is the workshop which includes what seems like a functional smithy and several other benches set up for various crafts.
here lives Cecile, an intricately crafted sentient stone golem, she is a highly capable master craftsman specialising in creating intricate designs and subsequent individualised manufacture.

Cecile, One That Designs


Cecile is a 5' 6" sentient, Rank 20, Marble "stone golem" made with extreme care, precision and dedication, whose construction some 9800 years ago took over 6 years of carefully detailed construction. They have a very smooth pale feminine complexation, with silvery grey hair, has bronze coloured eyes, and wears an intricate bronze flower decoration in her hair. They reside in a hidden workshop in an ancient ruin on the plane of Valmi. they are a master craftsman and is naturally a celestial Star mage, and has been imbued with several binder spells. they were made as the first in a detailed series of 9 others and holds the Series Title: One That Design
It has been found through ancient divination that they have a True Name.
