There are two similar pages: Shapechanger and Shape-Changer, plus Category:Shape-Changer. Yesterday I 'fixed' an exception (Jonas), and now realise he wasn't an exception. Which name convention is preferred? If people reach a semi-consensus, I'll rename / merge the pages, fix any stray Cats, and rebuild the links.

I would go with however it is written in the Rulebook. --Mandos 06:46, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

  • Tragically, in the errata section of Noticed Rulebook Issues we have 'Standardise shapechanger/shape-changer (also fix ShapeChanger)' --Errol 18:40, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
Shapechanger! Not that it matters too much which way, if you are putting the time/effort into fixing it then I think you get the casting vote. -- Stephen 23:56, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

I counted the Wiki pages, and went with "Shapechanger" as it was simpler, and had a slightly greater number of entries (33 to 21, I think). The original rules had "Shape-changer", as did those entries pasted straight from the rules so the ratio of entries took on more significance as an indicator of preference. I was hoping for input from players of Shapechangers. "Shapechanger" was also my preference, and the unanimous preference of all those who voted unambigiously (thanks Stephen!). If anyone doesn't like it, its a Wiki - change it. Just don't be half-hearted in the change. Andreww 07:10, 16 November 2009 (UTC)

  • And once someone updates the various Rulebook files, those would have to be re-changed as well...--Errol 08:28, 16 November 2009 (UTC)
