Hi Greg, I take it the pop figures are %ages. What's the total pop number? Also the language %ages aren't lining up with the names. --Errol 12:50, 29 Nov 2006 (NZDT)

mmm I am trying to determine a figure for the pop of medieval Russia and India. If you or anyone else knows please let me know. I will attempt to line up the languages

Which Century, or will any do? :-)

Look at http://www.tacitus.nu/historical-atlas/population/russia.htm and pick your time.

ta for that, 14th, 15th, 16th would have been fine. I just did not want a wildly unreasonable number. From that site Ruska would have about 10 million people. midish 15th century. and Hindia? (Blatant quest for info)

??Should be <6 according to that site.--Kelsie 12:12, 15 Dec 2008 (NZDT)

I have no problem with an update to the population, albeit 2 years after the end of the last conversation, but why the other edits, including deletion of pointers to a province of interest, and adventures in the area? --Dean Ellis 08:53, 17 Dec 2008 (NZDT)

That's bizarre, I only changed the one number. Must have been from a previous instance. Fixed now--Kelsie 12:53, 17 Dec 2008 (NZDT)

Thanks Kelsie. I thought something odd must have happened --Dean Ellis 14:01, 17 Dec 2008 (NZDT)

Both the original 20% literacy and recently amended 80% literacy figures look very wrong to me. With 2% urbanisation, and the literacy 'mostly urban', around 2-3% seems reasonable. Also, literacy above 10% is rare in Western Alusia. --Andreww 16:25, 15 Dec 2008 (NZDT)
