Atraxia

A very old plane consisting of precisely five features, according to the last Guild party to venture there.

  1. One solitary star.
  2. A large round portal gate, with only one known access from the plane of Zentradia. It had the nasty side effect of transforming travellers into it's own undead gaurdians.
  3. A set of gigantic menhir and dolmen-like stones, carved with ancient dead language that may be related to Draconic.
  4. A deserted underground city, named Ry'leh, within the furthermost temple of which are housed the "Doors to the Apocalypse."
  5. A completely flat and unvarying stone plain that occupies the remaining space.

Great and terrible age has apparently worn even the dust on this plane into nothing, with the exception of the noted attractions.

When a party visited during an expedition entitled "Return One Hero from the Cosmos" they were disturbed to find the grandly suicidal Prince Garrick attempting to open the doors and do battle with the entity/event charged with bringing about an end to the plane/universe/multiverse in order to end his cursed existance. Apparently he had been waitng 12,000 years and was fated to battle the hero the party was seeking, but was quite sporting about answering questions and pointed the party in the right direction.
