Scribe Notes

We were sat around a table in guild meeting room NO#3. There sat Three Halflings, An Elf and Two humans. Our employer was a middle-aged blonde woman carrying a trident and wearing yellow robes. This was Flamis one of those high ranked adventurers in the guild. Flamis has requested us to go to Dottery in Ranke to investigate some Arsony. Our payment would be some invested's from the fire college. We were also given some grenados called Fire-stoppers. Which would stop flames from spreading. We were given half a dozen of these grenados.

We decided that Jaycey was to be our Mil-Sci, Myself as Scribe, and Emrys as the party leader. We then planned our route to Dottery. Planning on first going to Dar. But not leaving until tomorrow.

Using Eldorans cloud we made our way towards Dar and we landed on a rocky beach, and from there we made our way to town. There were three taverns in the town, The Lusty Wench, The Cockon Sparrow, and the Barge Inn. We went to the Barge Inn first, they had good ale there and Angus got a couple of the sailors talking we didnt find anything out about the Arsony, except that people are superstitious. We managed to secure transport upstream.

We went to the Lusty wench and found it full of the towns fishermen. We turned around and went to the Cockon Sparrow. Where they had great food. During our meal we had a discussion. I wasn't paying too much attention until Jaycey said something that was slightly amusing

 Jaycey - "I've seen too much of his tartan."
 Angus - "Yeah, Forty yards of it."

The next day we made our way north on the transport we had secured the night before due to the several rounds of ale we paid for. We reached a fortified town, where we were then approached by a well endowed female, she introduced herself as Fanny and told us she had been sent to fetch us. We made our way to the witches gingerbread house. The house smelt like Gingerbread don't blame me. Apparently the three witches were to remove some curse that Lydian had. I was surprised the guild let her go out with a curse upon her.

Again there was some boring conversation that Angus was holding. Something about Angus being more sane then his cousins. Then telling us his cousins names.

 Angus - "Compared to Robert and Angus we're sane..."

The conversation was followed shortly thereafter by some joke on Angus's behalf.

 Fanny - "You have ways of knowing that don't you?"
 Eldoran - "No he doesn't, he's Caledonian."

The witches had tried to scry the fires but only gotten one word. "Heck"

During breakfast the next morning Lydian exclaims

 Lydian - "I'm only 2 and 1/2 inches tall"
 Angus -  "So that makes her a wingless pixie"

Sir whats-his-name asks for us to deal with some Orc Brigands, and that there would be a reward. We end up fighting these Orcish Brigands. We slay 5 and loot them, collecting the goods they had previously stolen. When we escorted the farmer back to town, we were rewarded with a purse of 1000 Silvers, from the Lord's chamberlain, and a flagon of cider from the farmer.

So, we continued to make our way North and came across a burnt out barn that appeared to be burnt from the top down. On one of the remaining walls were the words "Heck Rulz" spelt like that and an elephant with a curly top knot on his head and spikes along the back.

A little further along we came across a burnt-out tree with the letter "A" on it then repeated on the other side but upside down. We found from DA that it had been 22 days since it had been burned.

Even further along we found a farmhouse that had been burnt and people were rebuilding. They told us it was in the night 3 weeks ago. That was during the middle of Winter.

We reach another town and stay in the Tipsy Toad, and there is a fire in the middle of the night, our Celestial attempted to cast Witch sight and backfired. Lydian then became an Amnesiac for 9 days.

Angus kept saying how we had to get to Dottery- to Jaycey. So the amnesiac took to calling Jaycey Dotty and was the only one she trusted.

We ended up flying to Dottery and landed in the town centre on a cloud., we did get told off and I made Lydian fall asleep to make it easier to deal with. We get told by Bryan to go see Jeffrey in the church.

We get to stay in Bryans home. Bryans wife Elizabetta, showed us to our rooms. We get told that the town has a small problem or many small problems. In the form of Goblin pyromancers and arsonists.

We discuss plans for figuring out these goblins, where and who they are, and then deal with them.

 Carrie - "You could look like a goblin"
 Jaycey - "Yeah I just take a potion and turn green."
 Carrie - "I heard Angus can turn green."
 Jaycey - "Yeah, just like this *boop*"

Lydian gets restored from her curse, then we head out to a lumberjack camp. We go hunting that day and find bear. Then that night we set an ambush for the goblins.

 Angus- "What's your name?"
 Lydian- "Lydian."
 Angus- "And how tall are you?"
 Lydian- *blank stare*

Luckily for us the goblins attacked. We beat them off, and then in the morning we headed back to town, However everyone was gathered in the middle of town and there were some crying women.

 Angus- "Why do I get the feeling that someone's been taken."
 Crying Woman- "My babies been taken." 

We tracked a goblin on my 17% cast chance location spell. We tracked him to a mine entrance. That was labelled "The Entrance to Heck"

We ended up having to fight 16 goblins, however we were all invisible and Eldoran casting lightning managed to kill most of them. A few of the goblins escaped and from one of the corridors came four wolves. Three of us were visible at this point and the wolves split into two pairs and attacked Eldoran and Angus. I went behind and stabbed the wolf in the good spot.

 Eldoran- "That poor wolf."
 Carrie- "They chose not to fight me. I'm a threat too."

OUR GM ACTUALLY MADE US DIG FOR OUR LOOT

We explored the goblin lair and found a lake that when DA was a portal to the plane of Heck.

We traveled to the plane and ended up in a swamp, a very stinky swamp. Making our way through the swamp before we heard something moving towards us. It turns out a shambling mound of moss and swamp muck was attacking us. After defeating it we were applauded by a gnome named Poggle, who told us that we were in Hechingund or something like that. He also told us that this was NOT the Bog of Eternal Stench but the Swamp of Unforgettable Stink.

He took us to his gnome hole. And told his wife to prepare for the adventurers. Although I translated it to- "Hide the Silverware I found Halflings"

We then were attacked by fire elementals of some kind. We eventually beat them as well. Then I complained about not having magical weapons, even though I have enchant weapons.

We then travelled to the sewers and through the sewers into the Under, where all the Gnomes live.

We then traveled up to the city. Moving through a hedge labyrinthian maze. We made it to the nursery and then we attempted to rescue the babies, we had to fight a few more goblins and we killed several of them before smoke appeared and we ran because "He is coming" We knew that he is the Goblin King.

We made it home.
