So, any downsides to just putting the embedded links straight on the 'Great Land Mammals' category page, and losing the GLM article? --Errol 21:46, 18 Oct 2007 (NZDT)

Sounds like a good idea to me. But I am easily convinced by new idea's. --Mandos 06:43, 19 Oct 2007 (NZDT)

We'd lose the ability to print them all out or read through them all on one page. The other option would be to drop the GLM Cat as they're all included in this page. But unless either is causing any problems, why not just leave both and people will find/use whichever they prefer. -- Stephen 07:19, 19 Oct 2007 (NZDT)

No, the current GLM article contents go on the GLM Cat page (the code is just the embedded links to the individual creature pages), so the one page print is still an option. The Cat provides an easy link back from the individual pages. --Errol 08:16, 19 Oct 2007 (NZDT)
I think Stephens point is that if the articles go into the category we will lose the ability to print out all the creatures neatly. On personal preference I doubt I will ever print all the animals and if I do having some cat links at the bottom won't kill me but I can see Stephens point as well. --Mandos 09:05, 19 Oct 2007 (NZDT)

Aspect

Just as a thought is it worth adding Light and Dark Aspect Categories to the individual creature pages? Would it be helpful? --Mandos 09:08, 19 Oct 2007 (NZDT)

If you've got the time and inclination, why not. I have a summary sheet in my character folder so it is all on one page, but no problem with it being in the stat blocks. I'm happy to look over afterwards and comment on any oddities. --Errol 10:20, 19 Oct 2007 (NZDT)
It seems that it would add unnecessary info? The stat blocks are already vaguely dense. Who, apart from Celestials, cares? I'm not that concerned, but then we might as well add height, weight, life expectancy, main diet, etc - all a little useful, and easily added, but these are all tertiary characteristics. We aren't trying to write an encyclopaedia, are we? Or maybe we are. --Andreww 22:35, 20 Oct 2007 (NZDT)

I wasn't thinking of using the stat blocks, just a category Tag to produce lists of light and dark aspect, but as you say it is of limited use. --Mandos 13:34, 21 Oct 2007 (NZDT)
