The guild has been around approx 35ish years. How is Broc a member of the guild for 500 years?

- more like 44 or 45 years... but the point still stands. :-) - Martin Dickson
More importantly given his belief that he was a member of the guild during the preiod when he went back in time I belive the guild cshould be claiming back taxes. 500sp/year in lieu of taxable income isn't it?
Broc therefore owes the guild in the region of 250,000sp. You would think better of a priest than tax evasion, what is the Gabrielite church coming to?

Chris can you clear up 'my misunderstanding' regarding the time period please?
--Jono Bean 12:56, 9 May 2006 (NZST) ...
He apparently travelled back in time (500 years) on a Guild mission and then lived forwards to get back to now.
I think 13:10, 9 May 2006 (NZST)
During Alistair Ramsden the Battle of the Swamp (ex coast of Ormond where siggy and court were vacationing) Broc and others interacted with and had influence on certain events that lead Broc to stay behind in that time (around what would have been 392 or so) in isolation from the rest of the guild so as to avoid interaction and possible issues there.
So while Broc has in fact had the extra 500 years of life his membership with the guild (and his dues) are fully paid up for the 30-45 years he has been a member of the guild. Obviously there was no guild all that time ago to pay the dues to ;)
Broc considers himself to have been a guild member all this time as whatever small actions he made while 'in hiding' in the past would have been in line with guild policy and standards, personal honour and social mores. He was raising a family over those past 500 years and would have had some interaction with the wider world ;)
"I am more than happy to be asked/ordered to pay the 250,000sp in back dues if other GM's think this is reasonable. Broc would then however exercised his knowledge of future events and would be a land owner of a number of holdings (through various means and holding associates, companies etc) including most of the land in and around Seagate / Carzala, what would be Newhaven, what would become Brastor etc. That way the guild could get its 250,000sp and Broc would get that in yearly Rents, fees etc."
