The Calamar: For all those people who were wondering what fits into the catergory 'God-bothering'. Flying ships, wierd magics, god slaying weapons and stuff out of Verne and Wells, they have it all at their tentecles. Make no mistake, these are the bad guys. They want to enslave your entire culture and micromanage it down to the last detail. If asked what gives them the right they will blink in astonishment and reply that it is their power, vast overwhelming power and the self given mandate to improve and mentor everybody that gives them the right. They make the 'white man's burden' of the Victorians look like an idle notion.
