Royal Eltrandorian Squadron

The Royal Eltrandorian Squadron consists of 6 magnificent, large and modern vessels which are reputedly crewed by the best sailors in Eltrandor. Most other vessels in the Eltrandorian Navy are merchant ships and part-time privateers.

Spring 807 - 15th Harvest

The Royal Eltrandorian Squadron that was passing though the area during the storm of the 15th of Harvest 807 has suffered with the loss of Sigismund's Faith in the storm and the Iron Duke grounded on some islands newly appeared there (now called Ilse de Mort). The Queen Angela (carrying the king) was beached on an Aladarian beach but was refloated and made her way back to Tarc Isle in company with Eltran's Resolution and King Briyan's Fury. The King Wilhelm's Revenge has not been heard from or seen since then and is presumed sunk.

Summer 808

Three new keels have been laid down in the Tarc ship-yards for another 3 ships to join the Squadron. These vessels will be named closer to their launch date which is expected to be in 6 months around Spring 808.

Spring 808

The Eltrandorian Navy has launched 3 new 'Wilhelm Class' Galleons named Sigismund's Wrath, the Iron Duke II and the Black Hunter. All of these have incorporated new design features from newly 'discovered' shipbuilding techniques and methodologies.

The Queen Angela

This Carrack, commanded by Captain Jonas de Melbard is the flagship of the Squadron and pride of the Eltrandorian Navy with her massive size, reputation and distinguished history in battle. The Queen Angela is 180 feet in length, displaces some 230t, has 450 crew (including marines) and is known to veritably 'fly over the waves' when in need of speed. Primarily, The Queen Angela is used by King Ronan for fishing, visiting other senior nobles, and for reviewing his Royal Squadron.
Repaired at Tarc's Isle in Summer 808.

Sigismund's Faith

A Carrack, commanded by Captain Humphrey Vaylin. Runs escort on important convoys of vessels owned by the Royal household.

Eltran's Resolution

A Carrack, commanded by Captain Nylson Lendrym. Runs escort on important convoys of vessels owned by the Royal household and other nobles.

King Briyan's Fury

A Caravel, commanded by Captain Alicia Consardral. Is often found hove-to off Brandenburg. Alicia seizes more "vessels engaged in piracy on the high sea" as prizes than any other Eltrandorian captain, and is building a respectable fortune from her career.

King Wilhelm's Revenge

A Caravel, commanded by Captain Conyr Palathar. Is usually guarding Eltrandor's major port _please_insert_name_, and surrounding waters.

Iron Duke

A Caravel, commanded by Captain Jorge Shein. Typically chases smugglers and suspicious vessels. The fastest of the Eltrandorian vessels (excluding the Q. Angela in full flight).
Grounded in Spring 807. Refloated in Summer 808 after some repairs and after further repairs made it to Tarc Isle for Refit and extensive yard repair.
