Merrivale

Merrivale is a small village in northern Newcourt.

Merrivale is famed for it's apple orchards and the alcoholic beverages distilled from the fruit. A small rutted track leads north from the village to the tiny hamlet of D'arbres.

History

The village settled around the point where the northern Newcourt road crossed the D'arbres stream. It was originally founded when a miller came to the area and founded his mill by the river to service the local farmers. Since then the village has steadily grown and has one of the largest markets in the area.

The local lands are blessed by a local witch who keeps her magical skills a secret but is reknowned as a skilled healer. (Mostly Ranger and herbalist skills).
