Ring of Protection

This finely crafted Onyx stone ring has been enchanted with earth magic.

When worn for more than 7 days by an entity who is also dressed in a

‘Robe of Freetown’ the ring offers the following properties;


  • +5% to Defence which stacks with enchantment & items.
  • +5% Magic Resistance which stacks with enchantment & items.
  • +1 point of Armour verses both Fatigue and EN blows, which will

stack with other enchantments & items.

  • The wearer is able to ‘clean themselves’ at a cost of 1 fatigue by

taking a magical fire action.

This magical suit of hardened studded leather is made from the hide of a fantastical

chimera, and is dark green & charcoal in colour. It gives the user;

  • 8 points of protection to Fatigue blows.
  • 4 points of protection to Endurance blows.
  • You can cast in this armour at a penalty of -10% to the Base Chance
  • This item counts as a ‘Robe of Freetown’ for other arcane items.

It can be repaired by a rank 6+ skilled armourer, costing 1,250sp and taking ½ a day

to repair two points of specific grievous damage.

Painful Sleep

This small, silver ring is made from finely worked silver. .

Painful Sleep:

At night there is a 90 percent chance that when this beautiful ring if worn it will cause

an incredible sharp pain for just a moment, when a sentient entity comes into a 25-

foot radius of the ring wearer. It is painful enough to wake the wearer if sleeping.

This item will not work for people with resist pain talent.

Small Blue Ring

This is a small blue & silver ring is made from some from silver and is finely worked.


When worn it will allow either the wearer one of the two following;


  • A comfortable sleep on a uncomfortable surface
  • A comfortable bed-like surface will return an extra 1 point of fatigue per hour

of rest.


In addition the ring will half the amount of time that is normally needed to recover

from Specific Grievance blows if the time is measured in weeks to recover.

Example: if a hip taking 3 months to heal then it would only take 1½ months to heal/recover.

always cast from first and recovers at a rate of 5 points per dawn.

Resist Pain Talent

The character has gained the ability to learn and rank Resist Pain as

follows:

Effects: The Adept is largely immune to pain. For every 2 full ranks in this

Talent +1 is added to the amount of effective damage required to Stun

them (ie damage required to stun must be greater than [EN / 3] + [Rank in

resist Pain / 2]). At Rank 20 they will not be stunned no matter how much effective damage is

received. Should they become stunned, 2 time Rank in this Talent is added to the Base Chance of

recovering from Stun. In addition, if there is a chance that their concentration may have been broken,

5 (+ 1 / Rank) is always added to their Concentration Check. No matter what the circumstances the

Adept will always have a chance of maintaining concentration.

Superior Artzdorf Flensing Dagger

This excellent crafted dagger is made by a rank 10 craftsman. In the hands of an

adept it allows them to cut away a spell from a recently dead mage. In normal

combat it acts as an enchanted Dagger as follows;


  • +10% to BC from craftsmanship taking it to 50% SC
  • +2 Damage from enchantment (Stacks with weapon spells).


The following happens when an adept does a special action on a recently dead

adept (within the last 4 minutes). The special action involves slicing the skin for 3

consecutive pulses.


  • The target looses two ranks in a random GK spell that is at rank 10 or less. The rank is

regained after 9 months (if they are alive again).

  • The adept using this item will gain a bonus of two separate +1 spell ranks on two chosen

Special Knowledge spell (have to be different from each other) lasting for a duration of 6

months.

  • Adepts who are members of the Entities branch: Greater Summoners, Necromantic

Conjuration, Rune Mages, and Witchcraft, gain two separate +2 spell ranks instead of +1

spell rank.


Note: A dead adept can be flensed once per month.

Brown Ash Wand with a Phoenix feather core

This is a very well crafted Wand made from Brown Ash with a Phoenix

feather core. In the hands of an adept it allows them to expand their

normal ‘Prepare Action’ into a range of actions.


The Wand must be used in a secondary hand, without other items, whilst

they prepare and cast with their primary hand. To use the expanded

‘Prepare Action’ the adept must succeed in rolling against the spells Cast

Chance (CC).

  • They get to pick one from the following list if they succeed in the

Expanded Prepare action. These expanded ‘Prepare Action’ will

then effect the next Cast Chance action.

  • A normal ‘Prepare Action’ occurs if they fail the Expanded Prepare action.


The ‘Expanded Prepare Actions’ will affect a spell of rank 14 of less. The list is:


  • Cast at -10 on the CC (penalty) and +1 Ft cost but select one target twice (two resistances).
  • Cast at -10 on the CC (penalty) but gain duration is doubled.
  • Cast at -10 on the CC (penalty) but gain +2 spell ranks of ‘effect’.
  • Cast at -05 on the CC (penalty) but gain +1 spell ranks of ‘effect’.
  • Cast at an additional +2 Ft & +6 EN cost but all targets resist at -30%.
  • Cast at an additional +1 Ft cost but gain 1 additional target.
  • Cast at normal CC and but the duration is doubled.
  • Cast at normal CC and costs +3 Ft but gain 2 additional targets.
  • Cast at normal CC and cost but on the damage dice a roll of 1 to 5 is rolled again & added.
  • Cast at normal CC (penalty) and the GK spell becomes Resist for half damage.
  • Cast at normal CC and able to effect multi-hex creatures at 1 per 3 ranks.
  • Cast at normal CC and gain +1 spell ranks of ‘effect’.
  • Cast at +25 on the CC (bonus) on a GK spell.
  • Cast at +25 on the CC (bonus) on a SK spell but costs +1 Ft.


An adept can only be attuned to one Wand at a time. It takes a week of time to become attuned to

any new Wand. Other actions can be carried out in that week as per normal.
