Loot

The record of items, trinkets and payments for this outing...

CleaveTwain

A Zweihander that cleaves it's opponents in twain. From a distinctive style of smithying practised by a range of devils and other demonics. Dropped by Mickleton Vamp One so he could eat Silverfoam.

Elfenberg Adventuring Barge

  • 3 Modes
    • Barge
    • War
    • Stealth

The boat "folds" away to the size of a backpack complete with carry straps.
It has a smooth wooden "elven" finish as a backpack but other than that -
it is a folded up boat.

  • To change between modes the boat must be folded and unfolded again
  • Both actions require a 10 minute ritual (there is a manual)
  • The boat actually belongs to Isil'Eth's family
  • They will expect its return but in elven time.

What We Did With It

Manavore horn - we powdered it up and split the results (8 x 8 oz worth 5000sp each)

Blues: We arranged for the sentient blues to be given the choice of their souls being released to the after life or to be held on the off chance that a body could be found for them to be resurected into.

We kept one each of the non-sentient blues and released the rest.

Draft Writeups

(for Gordon to review while he's overseas)

Magical Saddle and Bridle

This finely looking harness was crafted and charmed for the nobility of Waterford and was high fashion 100 years ago. It looks dated now but will still fit a palfrey or similar sized horse. The charms have two effects:

  • The harness will not take normal wear and tear, but always look in peak condition. This will not prevent major damage, eg. Fire, sabotage.
  • The rider will always look skilled and suave, regardless of their actual abilities or mistakes.

Value: 450 sp (3 x price of standard riding harness)

Powdered Manavore Horn

Manavores are predators that inhabit the void and eat mana. They suck it in by pointing their horns at mana sources (eg active magic, mages etc: but not inactive magic items) and sucking the mana out, leaving the source drained and damaged.

Even when dead the horns still have the ability to destroy mana, ending any active magic (including permanent magics), and draining a mage so they are stunned, woozy and incoherent and unable to use magic for minutes. This is a cone effect.

This powder is 1/8 of a horn and can be used to do the following to one target (entity, object, or area):

  • Make a D+3 roll. This is the duration in pulses of all the effects unless otherwise specified.
  • Immediately end the duration of any non permanent magic currently in effect.
  • Immediately suppresses the effects of permanent magic (including items which have constant effects) for the duration.
  • If target is a mage they need to make a magic resistance check (non-colleged).
  • If they fail they fall unconscious for the duration (or can be brought around by external means). When they come around they are woozy and nauseous and must make willpower checks each pulse to do anything for the next 3 minutes (x1 in the 1st minute, x2 in the 2nd, and x3 in the last minute).
  • If they succeed they are stunned for at least 5 seconds. They are woozy and nauseous and must make 1 x willpower checks to do anything for the next 5 pulses.
  • They are unable to draw mana for the duration.

The powder will activate when it comes in contact with one entity, object, or area (mega-hex) which is magical or has magic in effect.

The powder can be sprinkled on the target (wear gloves : - ), or stored in a fragile container and thrown (see grenado rules), or administered in a potion.

Weight: 8oz

Aura: magic draining (and don't peer at it for too long)

Value: 5000 sp

Enchanted Demon Bones

Gordon, I remember these were from a lesser power, but couldn't remember which one, imp, devil, succubus) Would you also choose the colleges of the two orginal entities (or I can roll randomly from the options in the Bestiary)

Possibly Fire and Air, or a mixture, per M's associations - Errol

These are the dried out bones of a devil who was a mage of the College of XXX. See the Bestiary for the details of this entity's abilities. They have been enchanted to be suitable for use in dark rituals or sacrifices.

They could be used:

  • instead of the live sacrifice of a non-sentient
  • as part of a demonic ritual
  • by a shaper to infuse and item with one of the abilities of the devil
  • by a mage to invest D-5 (minimum one) charges of one of the abilities of the devil (they must have at least rank 10 in the Investment Ritual)
  • By a rank 7 alchemist to make D-5 (minimum one) doses of a potion of one self only ability of the devil

Weight: 2 lbs

Aura: formerly living devil, enchanted

Value: 2000 sp
